Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of the virus, the health and safety of our furniture delivery and assembly technicians, as well as our clients are our highest priority. As we closely monitor the situation and changes day-to-day, we will share updates, as needed to with clients who have services scheduled.
Our goal is to still provide the essential help our clients need with furniture delivery and assembly services in the GTA safely and effectively in these changing times.
We do ask that if you have services scheduled and become ill, that you call and postpone your service to a later date. If you are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms, COVID-19 symptoms, or have tested positive for COVID-19, we will not be able to provide in-person services at this time.
Contactless Furniture Delivery and Assembly Options
To protect everyone’s health and safety following guidelines by the WHO and the Public Health Agency of Canada, we are offering contactless furniture delivery and assembly options. We are requesting clients to choose contactless options as well.
By requesting contactless options, it simply means that you agree to maintain and practice safe social distancing of at least 2 meters/6 feet, while our technicians are completing your services. We also ask that you wear some type of face covering as well, which can be a towel, face mask, shirt or another such item that covers your nose and mouth.
With our contactless furniture delivery, we can either set your furniture on your front entry and you can wait until your delivery drivers are a safe distance away and bring it inside your home yourself.
Alternatively, we can bring the furniture inside. Our delivery drivers will call you when they arrive so you can unlock your door and distance yourself from them. They will bring the furniture into your home and set it in the room where you want it.
If you are also getting furniture assembly service, then our assemblers will put it together. While they work, we do ask you to keep a safe distance away. You can talk to them and ask questions but do so from a safe distance. Once work is complete, our assemblers will clean up and remove any packaging the furniture was shipped in.
Virtual Furniture Assembly
Another option we are now offering is virtual furniture assembly assistance. With this option, you can schedule a virtual appointment with one of our experienced furniture technicians. At your appointment, you and your assembler connect via video chat (Facetime, Skype, etc.) and they walk you step-by-step of the furniture assembly process.
We do ask that you let us know ahead of time what furniture piece you need help with and other details so that our technicians have time to review assembly processes prior to your scheduled appointment.
